This small detached dwelling is situated on an urban corner, nestled within the dense city fabric between large traffic arteries. The project retreats from the exterior, protecting itself like a shell from the street and opening up completely to its interior. The structure is conceived as a contemporary reinterpretation of a coffered ceiling, which organises the space and defines its atmosphere. The swimming pool emerges from the garden into the dwelling, surrounded by vegetation that integrates it and softens its boundaries. Materials such as terrazzo, pine wood, and fabrics lend a light and summery character, reinforcing the feeling of a domestic refuge.
