A detached house within a series of concrete and timber homes that are nestled between the stone terraces of the mountain on which they sit. The symmetrical floor plan and the strategy of concealing the openings give the ensemble a sense of lightness and constant transformation. The horizontality of the volume is accentuated by the terraces, where water introduces a new plane for reading the landscape. A second, more vertical element acts as a counterweight, establishing a dialogue of tensions between mass and lightness. An architecture that rests on the land without imposing itself, seeking its balance in the location.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
