A series of four terraced houses where the courtyards take centre stage due to their placement, orientation and proportion. The project takes advantage of the stepped nature of the houses to create rooftop gardens which, when viewed together, form an oasis within an irregular urban fabric.

The concrete, understood from its material nobility, defines the composition of the volumes and their presence within the whole. In contrast, the continuous wooden structure in the glazed porches introduces lightness and transparency, allowing the home to extend visually from one courtyard to another. An architecture of thresholds, where voids organise domestic life.
