The renovation of a house in the historic centre of Palma reconstructs the layers of its own history. Formerly the home of a geographer, historian and astronomer, the project reclaims a place where knowledge and observation of the sky were part of daily life. The grilles, designed as unique pieces, evoke constellations and astral patterns.

The garden, hidden within, emerges as its true gem: an intimate space inhabited by centuries-old trees. The attic is reinterpreted as an observatory, extending that relationship with the sky. The intervention highlights its 13th-century origins, recovering rammed earth walls and old corbels, alongside other historical construction elements. An architecture that does not impose itself, but rather reveals what was already written in the place.
